Yes, I'm still alive.  Sorry for having stayed away so long.  I'll try to explain at least some of that in a minute.  But I just want to let everyone know I'm at least as OK as I was when I was actively drawing.

The biggest reason for my absence was a property loss which caused me to go without both the hardware and software needed to make drawings.  For several full years, I had no access at all to Poser or any of my files.  So, no drawings.

But beyond that, and well before that property loss, I had also lost ALL interest in this art work.  I started getting bored of most of the art work on this site.  I started getting bored with all 3D art, which I know is unfair.  And I was COMPLETELY bored with my own artwork, even with the very gracious support it had.  I just didn't want to do it anymore, and losing my programs fit nicely into that.

Recently, though, I've lurched myself back into SOME activity on this site.  I'll single out the help of who talked me through many interesting scenarios.  His support prompted me to investigate the possibility of regaining my software files, and YES!  They work on my new system.

What this means, I'm not at all sure.  In contrast to previous stints, I won't promise any level of activity...in fact, I can guarantee I'll be producing VERY few pieces.  I was up until 1am making a drawing recently, which is simply not sustainable any longer.  Many years ago, I heard the highly-questionable C**rtney L*ve say of herself, "I can put out music whenever I want, I'm the G**rge L*cas of rock!"  In that spirit, I figure I'll just put out drawings whenever I want, and become the C**rtney L*ve of G**rge L*cases.

Anyway, thanks for listening.  And, as has been the case since Day 1, thanks for the support!

Hello again,

None of us owes any apologies around here, but I did want to say sorry for almost completely disappearing for several weeks.  

I've been dealing with difficult personal issues, the usual life/career/relationship stuff, and it completely prevented me from either opening Poser or checking my DA account.  I either lost or shoved aside all creative impulse, and also lost motivation to check in here, which is uncommon.  Nothing has much improved on the personal front, but I thought I'd at least poke my head in again.  I can't speak to the possibility of making more pictures, but it wouldn't be the first time coming back, so it's always possible.  I know everyone's really cool with me posting or not posting, so I certainly appreciate that.  

In the meantime, rest assured, I am paying the penalty...over 4,500 notices to get through!

I still have several more reference pictures saved for potential upcoming "Babes of Quikstapic" pictures...I could probably still make another 10-12 if I wanted.  I should:

-- "Yes, yes, make ALL of them!  Keep working only on that until you've exhausted your supply!"

-- "Well...you can keep going, but feel free to work on unrelated stuff, and mix them in whenever it fits...it's a numbered series, we get the idea"

-- "UGH, enough!  Stop ruining our lives with this sh-t and get back to your other pictures!"

For those who are interested, I will do just about anything. I could certainly use the money and you could certainly have the drawing you desire. If you want damsels in distress or don't want them, that's fine. I can draw sexy pin-ups or cute creatures. I'll draw just about anything. Even ponies and Pokemon. But not robots or cars.
Anything not safe for DA's viewing will be viewable elsewhere such as Pixiv or Tumblr. I currently accept Paypal only and accept full payment before working begins. If you're interested, send me a note with full details. If not, then don't.

I am open to an art trade, under very specific and limiting circumstances:

** You draw 1 piece, I draw 1 piece (2 MAX, if the reason is compelling)
** The piece I draw for you has a MAX of 4 characters...anything more grinds the whole process to a crawl
** The piece I draw for you uses only characters and elements (clothes, setting, etc.) that you've already seen in my gallery...I'm not looking to acquire new materials right now
** Right now, I am NOT looking for 3D art or a story in return...only considering digital or hand "drawings," purely for aesthetic preference
** Surprising no one, the picture I want in return is of cheerleaders in distress...photo references provided
** I won't be able to start work on my part until Monday the 16th at the earliest.


I don't know how many takers this will leave me.  But if you're interested, let me know!

For my own part, I'm not considering commissions or requests outside the scope of this at the moment.
